what a weeeeek; but TGIF :D

I'm already slacking on my posts.

I've been a bit busy with school. Let's just say I won't be forgetting that I have papers to write on the day that they're due anytime soon.

I did a bit of some shopping last weekend, so I wanna share the goodies with you :] I'll try to find time to snap some pictures soon.

I'll tell you one thing I got; Urban Decay's new Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden. It's the new matte one. I've been trying to hold off from buying a new one for as long as I could. I had the original UDPP and tried to use up every last bit of it that I could before restocking. Then I got the UD Deluxe Eyeshadow Palette & tried to stick to the itty bitty UDPP that comes with it. Eventually you realize that you must stop being a cheap ass & go out & get the real thing.

I was in the mood to try something different so I decided to pick up Eden. The primer is more opaque than the original UDPP (no, I've never tried Sin) but the consistency is still the same. It does significantly brighten up your eye area. I've also heard that it can conceal any eye imperfections you may have, such as blood vessels showing through the thin skin of your eyelid, puffiness, dark circles, etc. I think that sounds about right. I'll definitely vouch for the eye brightening claim.

It does keep away the nasty creasies, but I think the original UDPP still is the best of all the primers. For me, I've noticed creases showing up a bit sooner compared to the original. It doesn't bother me much though. Better to have one eyeshadow primer than none at all !

love that new angled tip.

first applied.

then blended in. you can't even tell on my hand.
but there's a difference on your eye :]

& that's that ! hopefully I can find time to post more often.

Oh, & did you hear about Lady GaGa's "The Fame" album going DIAMOND ? That's insane ! That means she sold 10 million albums. When was the last time that happened ? Especially in an age where no one actually buys music anymore. Ahh, I love GaGa ♥ Speaking of which, I got MAC's Viva Glam GaGa lipstick a few weeks ago so I'll be talking about that soon.

Have a good weekend ladies :]

start of something new :]

Since last night, I've had this urge to just totally redo my blog. Instead of a place to vent about feelings & such, I want to start talking about my favorite things--make up & beauty products ! How excitinggg. I know everyone & their mother is doing one of these now but I don't care how many people read it. As long as I can share what I know with just ONE person, that'll make me happy. But I still have a lot to do, like think up of a name for my blog & find or make a layout. I used to make layouts on LiveJournal but I forgot how to ! & I guess the HTML between Blogger & LJ are two complete different things.

Anyway, on to the good stuff. My first review ! :D A few days ago, I went to Sephora & picked up a Sephora by OPI polish. I got What A Broad. It's a rich, pretty grape color. I have pictures but forgive me for the sloppiness around the cuticle. I just did my nails last night & was dying to go to bed.

What A Broad w/flash.

What A Broad w/no flash.

I am so in love with this color. It's so pretty ! I already have another Sephora by OPI polish in Never Enough Shoes but that one was a bit of a disappointment. It looks absolutely lovely in the bottle. It's black with tons & tons of shimmer. With the amount of shimmer you see in the bottle, you'd think it would come up on your nails but it doesn't ;[ You can bareeeeeely see it, but I'm still keeping the damn thing.

With these two Sephora by OPI nail polishes, the consistency is perfect--not too thick, not too runny. The brush is thin, unlike some polishes that have those super wide, awkward brushes that only allow you to get one swipe of color at a time. You have so much more freedom to swipe color wherever you want, like the hard-to-reach area of nail right next to the cuticle. With a topcoat, I've found these do last a pretty long time. I wanna say like 5 days. That's a long time for me since I like to switch it up often. I plan on getting more of these. I hear I'm With Brad is a super cool dark red & one of my good friends has Under My Trenchcoat, this really pretty yet odd looking nude-taupe color. We can't decide what we think of that one haha.

So the verdict on SbO is two, pretty painted thumbs up ! :]

Hope you enjoyed the first post ♥
